Ahwatukee Lacrosse is a youth lacrosse club for boys ages kindergarten through 8th grade. We field the following programs/teams:

DRAGONS - Fun and FREE; lacrosse basics

DRAGONS 5/6 - Developmental; 5th/6th grade players

STORM JHS B - Competitive; individual skill development

LIGHTNING JHS A - Highly competitive; advanced 7th/8th grade players

We are looking for fast athletes who enjoy playing contact sports, have the desire for a more active field experience and don't like to stand around!
No Experience is Required!
Ahwatukee Lacrosse has developed players who now compete at the national level.

The mission of Ahwatukee Lacrosse is to support and foster the development of the best youth lacrosse in Arizona. The promise of Ahwatukee Lacrosse program is to build the skills of all players while teaching all aspects of the game of lacrosse.
A focus of Ahwatukee Lacrosse is to grow awareness and education of lacrosse in the greater Phoenix, Arizona. Ahwatukee Lacrosse is committed to helping local schools teach the basics of lacrosse as well as offer programs to help bring lacrosse to players who may otherwise not be able to participate.
The Middle School Program has two teams:

Lightning Blue with players from 6th, 7th and 8th grade.

Lightning Gold with players from 6th, 7th and 8th grade.

This is a fun 6 week program that will be run by the Ahwatukee Lacrosse Middle School coaches. Your player will learn lacrosse basics while playing the game!

Please note that all players must be registered with US Lacrosse to participate in any lacrosse program in the US, for insurance purposes. The cost is $25 and can be completed during our registration process, or go to www.ulacrosse.org
3rd/4th Grade Team: This season, 3rd and 4th graders will have the opportunity to participate in games through the Arizona Youth Lacrosse League (AYLL). There are no extra practices, you just show up, get put on a team and play! For more information please contact Rosemarie Traxler
**There is no registration fee, but you will be asked to sign a liability waiver. All players must have a waiver to participate.
Player Equipment:
Stick, helmet, chest pads, elbow pads, gloves, and protective cup
Please tell your friends…drop ins are always welcome! Registration is ongoing and unlimited.
All players need to hold a valid membership wth US Lacrosse, for insurance

HOW TO REGISTER

All players MUST take the following steps to be ready for the 2012 AYLL Game Season:
1. Register for AHWATUKEE LACROSSE.

The cost is $320 per player.

There is a $25 sibling discount available.

Uniform: All players will receive a game jersey. For new players, game shorts can be purchased during the registration process. The cost is $20.

If your player would like to use their game shorts from last year, they do not need to order new shorts.

Ahwatukee Lacrosse Spring Registration fee is $320.

Players can use game shorts from last year, otherwise, new shorts can be purchased through the registration website for $20.

All lacrosse players in the USA must have a current membership with US Lacrosse, for insurance purposes. Annual membership fee is $25. Register for US Lacrosse during our registration process or click here - www.uslacrosse.org

AYLL Registration: all players MUST register with Arizona Youth Lacrosse League. The cost is $30 for grades 6-8. There are no fees for th 5th/6th grade team, but players still need to register. Go to www.azlax.org to register using PayPal for AYLL.
